Can’t Sleep
Ha! I don’t have school tomorrow! Go, girl’s only lifestyle expo, whole school day of fun stuff without homework! Yay! So excited, can’t sleep.
Frustrated
I can’t get a single bit of work done! I’m so lazy and I can’t choreograph ANYTHING! I’m so screwed up right now.
Sigh…the sadness…
I nearly got a tooth knocked out by my mom. With me bending down…my mom standing up…bam. I can’t believe I didn’t see that coming. My eyesight’s getting worse and my reflexes are no good.

Something to get off my chest: those lines about friendship lasting forever that everyone quotes? I don’t think some people really get what it’s about.
I mean, how long have you lived for that to have been proven true? What do you know aside from the fact that it seems right and ideal, and that it makes life sound like a lovely, scripted movie? People change and move on. That’s a sad reality; sometimes you just don’t fit anymore. Circumstances change and other things get in the way.
It doesn’t mean that your relationship, experiences or emotions were any less genuine if you aren’t still buddies at age 93.The laughter and those tears were very real and heartfelt. The things you sacrificed for each other without a second thought and the times you poured your heart out to them late at night. The crazy things you guys pulled off and the feeling of being invincible when they’re beside you that you don’t feel with anyone else. They know you better almost than you know yourself, and inspire you to be even more. They lift you up to new heights, as you do them, and you’re right beside each other every step of the way.
So when you feel cracks form into the inexplicably widening gap you thought would never happen to a friendship as powerful as yours, it’s confusing, it’s frustrating, and it’s heartbreaking. You don’t know what’s happening or if you did something wrong. You want to cling onto the threads of your relationship like a drowning man to a lifesaver, and you want to fight for it as fiercely as you would have fought for them, because letting go would be like cutting loose a piece of yourself.
Treasure what you have when it’s there, and don’t let go too easily. But at the same time, know when to let go. Sometimes it’s not meant to work out the way you want it to, and dragging it on too long will just strain both parties. My advice is, simply remember the good times and learn from the bad.
Because sometimes people change. Circumstances change and other things get in the way, etcetc. They move, they’re busied with studies, they focus on a new career, they start a new family… you get caught up in life. But the imprint they’ve left upon you as a person has shaped your core values, your perception of the world, and your personality in such a way that they never really leave you. Even when their faces fade from your mind’s eye, and you can no longer hear their voices call you inappropriate names, they’re there. And you can bet you’ve had the same impact on them.
Just A Thought
Sometimes I just don’t get what goes through an extremely outgoing teenager’s head, in other words a teenager who hangs out with a group of extremely loud friends. Assuming they’re loud themselves. Sometimes it just really bugs me. They always talk about inappropriate stuff, constantly bugs and hurts each other, embarrasses each other, and just seem to enjoy creating a ruckus. I don’t know, I was just wondering.
My mom has a copy of his book. I don’t know why I took this long to blog about it but someone recently reminded me of those who don’t have the best in life and I felt compelled to share his story. When my mom told me his story about a year ago I cried non-stop. I felt so inspired by him, I was shocked that someone like him had made it so far in life and was HAPPY! I mean, if he can do it we should all try for his sake, shouldn’t we?
